Never disappointed

I celebrated my graduation yesterday in this excellent restaurant. Well it was a incredible evening and the venue was surely the reason for the outstanding meeting. The crew participated in a splendid style, the meals were tasty and my guests were extremely happy. We shall absolutely come back again for more celebrations. thanks very much.

Very well kept and convenient place. They provide big portions and for affordable rates. I enjoyed the meals a lot and the waiters were super personal and explanatory. I recommend this place.

Asked for 18% tip for non-existing service after I left with 12%, feel insulted and will never come back again.

I went here a few weeks ago with some family and really enjoyed the food. I had always seen the restaurant because I go to this shopping center a bit and we decided to finally try it while celebrating a birthday. We had dumplings, Jjajangmyun, and Tangsuyuk. My family really enjoyed the Tangsuyuk the most I think. I will definitely return to try more dishes on the menu!

So many shops fluctuate in quality and taste. But today the meal at Jang Won was deliciously prepared, generous portions, friendly service, fair price = great meal.

There aren't too many great options for Korean-operated establishments that serve black bean noodles ("Jajangmyeon") in Northern VA. However, Jang Won Bon does it right by me. I frequent this place usually on weekends and normally order a bowl of the black bean noodles and the sweet and sour crispy pork ("Tangsuyuk"). It's pretty packed on weekends, but you typically won't have to wait any longer than a few minutes to be seated at lunch or dinner time. Service is efficient, but feels a bit abrupt at times as the servers are trying to turn around tables as quickly as possible. They accept credit cards and cash and there is plenty of storefront parking available.

Our family's go to restaurant when we don't know what to eat. Love everyone on the menu!! Their spicy beef jajangmyun is awesome!

The food is delicious here! Portions are more than generous, you will see. Service is super quick. It is a no-frill kinda place, so don’t expect much when it comes to atmosphere.

Had a wonderful tasting dinner and great service in this simple but nice and clean place. The only negative is they don't have Dolsot Bibimbap in the menu, but I understand that it's not a pure Korean food, but K/Chinese one which explains it. The prices are fair and the portions are huge. Definitely worth returning here.

Great for Jja jang Myun and Jjam Bong. And also other Korean food. It tastes good. Worth a try (might be a bit crowded on weekends).

This is a Korean-style Chinese restaurant. They offer a good variety of menu. Everything we tried was so delicious and we keep coming back. Good service and reasonable price as well.

Everyone has their favorite Korean-Chinese place. This one happens to be mine in the DC, MD, VA region. Nothing fancy, and hand-pulled noodles are part of the special sauce here.

This place offers some of the best Korean Chinese food experience. The atmosphere is friendly and portion size is huge! Whenever you are hungry, this is the place to go.

This is my favorite jajjangmyun jib. Jjangpong is amazing. But the spicy seafood Kan jajjang is my jam. Crispy pork is the crispiest. I get sauce on side so I can take the leftovers home. It is super spicy. But flavor is deeeep. I also always get an order of the steam jumbo buns Togo. 3 in a order which is an amazing snack later on.

Great Korean style Chinese food

Good Korean food and wonderful service.

I am no expert on Korean food, so please take this with a grain of salt. I ordered what seemed most familiar to me and close to the top of the menu which was a fried chicken with sauce and vegetables. Unfortunately the chicken was very inconsistently sized, some being bite sized and others being huge masses impossible to separate with chop sticks. Also i got a piece that was cartilage and a joint which was very unpleasant to chew. Worse still, the vegetables were completely uncooked. The sharp and strong flavors of raw onions and peppers were not a good compliment to the chicken. Finally I had to order rice separately although this was meant to serve two people, and it was gummy and overcooked. The service was good although none of the waitresses spoke very good English and it was hard for me to figure out what to order. I don't hold that against this place in my rating though because I chose to go to this little Korea Town which is very cool. My rating is only for the subpar food.

Korean style Chinese restaurant. Visited here multiple times and food is always delicious. Some of our favorite are fried pork with sweet and sour sauce, jjajang noodle, and spicy oyster noodle soup. Place gets busy during weekend lunch/dinner times but food usually comes out fast and line tends to move quickly.

Food was OK. Nothing special about them and they were overpriced. Meat was tough and chewy. Noodles were not hand made. Soup has too much MSG as usual. But, most bothersome event was that after paying my food, waitress stopped me from leaving and starting to argue about my tipping. Service was neither friendly nor accurate. So I tipped 10%. She was arguing she deserves more. I never met any service staff asking more tip when service was not rendered to deserve extra tip. It was my first time visiting and will be my last time to this hole in the wall.

We come here all the way from Ashburn. The food is authentic and fast. Our staple dishes are the ja jang kyun(#21) (noodles in a black bean sauce with pork.) and pork tang su yuk (#1) (fried pork with sweet and sour pork). Sometimes, we do a combo #6 in the far right corner on the menu. We love this place.You want taste, great, you want ambiance, go somewhere else.
